2nd OPENCoastS e-Tutorial: build your forecast for all circulation choices

LNEC, CNRS/UR, UC and LIP are organizing a detailed course on the full capabilities of OPENCoastS between 27 and 29 of January 2021.
A new, additional module dedicated to the IT frontend and backend of OPENCoastS for developers and system managers will be presented on the last day.

MedCoast conference: Presentation/hands-on session

The MEDCOAST congress in Marmaris (Turkey) is the fourteenth event of the biennial series that was started in 1993 for contributing to coastal and marine sciences, engineering, management and conservation particularly in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.  Since the first event in 1993 (Antalya, Turkey), the MEDCOAST congress series have travelled around the Mediterranean and the Black Sea coasts, visiting Taragona (Spain), Qawra (Malta), Antalya (Turkey), Hammamet (Tunisia), Ravenna (Italy), Kusadasi (Turkey), Alexandria (Egypt), Sochi (Russia), Rhodes (Greece), Marmaris (Turkey) Varna (Bulgaria) and Mellieha (Malta).  The congress has been regularly organized in every odd numbered year, in the months of either October or November. 

Target audience: coastal authorities, end users and researchers from any country.

  • To promote the exchange of ideas and experiences in the fields of Hydraulics and Water Resources; 
  • To stimulate training, research and development actions of common interest. In the 14th SILUSBA we intend to enable the passage of knowledge to practice, reinforcing training and entrepreneurship, giving some institutional formality to our "Water Community".

OPENCoast training event at the IMUM 2018 workshop

The 17th International workshop on Multi-scale (Un)-structured mesh numerical Modeling for coastal, shelf, and global ocean dynamic will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from September 11th to 14th, 2018. The workshop is organized by the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (Hamburg) and the Alfred-Wegener-Institut for Polar and Marine Research (Bremerhaven).
