The show goes on! Even with the shift towards a virtual format for the EOSC-hub Week 2020, the event will continue to provide dissemination and visibility opportunities for the community.

Do you have results and innovations that you would like to share with EOSC-hub's community of service providers, EOSC actors, researchers, and high-tech industry? Then participate in the EOSC-hub poster and demos competition!

Submit your poster or demonstration no later than the 8th of May 2020.

All posters and demos will be promoted via the EOSC-hub, EUDAT and EGI social media during the EOSC-hub Week. 

The posters and demos will be judged by a jury of experts combined with an online voting system involving the whole community. The voting system will be opened on the 11th of May.  

The winning poster and demo will be announced and promoted during the closing plenary of the EOSC-hub Week.

Poster and Demo Contest Mechanics

A contest will be held for the best poster and demo entry and will be announced during the program of the EOSC-hub Week 2020.

The winning poster and demo will be announced and promoted during the closing plenary of the EOSC-hub week and included in the post-event email to all EOSC-hub Week attendees along with a ‘call for action’ message that the winner would like to convey.

The following are the criteria for judging:

  • 30% - Public voting (number of votes collected via the voting system - Voting will open on the 11th of May 2020 and will close on the 19th of May COB)
  • 30% - Soundness of technical content
  • 25% - Relevance and clarity of message
  • 15% - Design, visuals and attractiveness

For the public voting, please note that only 1 vote is allowed per person. Each vote will be checked and each voter will receive a copy of their vote via email.
