Challenges in Sustainability of FAIR Research Data and Services for SSH and Beyond

Time 19 November 2020, 09:30 - 11:00 CET
Chair Sergio Andreozzi (EOSC-hub), Irena Vipavc (SSHOC)
Description

This session will examine issues around the governance and sustainability of key exploitable results (KERs) relevant for the EOSC coming from the projects EOSC-hub, FREYA and SSHOC. During the first part, each project will present its own selected KERs and the current view on governance and sustainability plans and challenges. During the second part, similarities and differences will be analysed via a panel discussion with the goal of identifying suggested ways forward. Issues addressed will include governance challenges and funding coordination requirements to ensure strategic continuity across service innovation, operation and integration.  The discussions will aim to identify recommendations for EOSC funders and policy makers for the sustainability of FAIR research data and services.
